The VSP file format is used by Corel VideoStudio Pro, a program originally designed by Ulead, acquired by Corel in 2006 and used for creating various types of slideshows and movies.

VSP files are created automatically by VideoStudio when the user saves a project.

These VSP files store all information regarding a slideshow or movie. This includes video references, pictures, audio files, special effects, imaging filters, timeline settings and more. VSP files are actually documents containing encrypted data for all these settings.

How to open VSP Files

Since VSP files are actually documents, they can't be opened using a media player and can't be viewed as conventional videos or slideshows. They need to be exported first using the VideoStudio Pro software. This is easily done by accessing the File menu of the program.
