UDP files are created with Corel VideoStudio Pro. These files are used for storing video footage of a project and any options and video editing settings chosen by the user.

For example, if a movie was cropped in Corel VideoStudio, the UDP file will save the entire move including any markings of the cuts. This is done to easily identify all the scenes of the video and it is one of the reasons why UDP files are also known as Corel "scene files".

How to open UDP Files

Opening a UDP file and accessing all its contents can only be performed using Corel VideoStudio Pro. However, since they contain all the video footage of the project, they can also be opened and viewed with some media players such as CorePlayer.
