RCPROJECT files are created by the iMovie 08 camcorder program from Apple. These files contain the timeline for the movie as well as any special effects that are used, the transition effects, the information about the edits to the videos, the references to the audio and video files that are used in the project, and the audio tracks that are used in the video project.
