.AVD video files are files that consist of a proprietary video format that is used exclusively by Alogics Corporation as its own video format. These video files never became popular, but have been more recently deprecated by other video formats and have nearly become obsolete in favor of more widely accepted---or more widely adopted by operating system vendors such as Microsoft-- formats such as AVI, WMV, and MPEG.
